Abstract This paper provides a historical summary of the Crystal Springs Reservoir's purpose, design and development, physical changes and modifications, operational changes, and regulatory issues that have collectively contributed to the reservoir's current challenges. It touches upon the current operation of the reservo.ir and its hydraulic interrelationship with the surrounding water bodies.
