Abstract
Despite considerable modelling efforts made in recent years, a simulation tool that allows the simulation of integrated urban drainage systems is still under development. This paper presents the first approach towards this forthcoming tool that will deal with the hydraulics and biological processes of urban drainage systems as a whole. A hydraulic sewer simulator has been developed based on flexible programming languages as the first module for a management tool, which will integrate hydraulic and biological models for the urban drainage system.
