Abstract
The effective height approach, using wind tunnel dispersion data, provides a practical method of assessing the dispersion of plumes affected by building wakes, with respect to the critical group The technique can also be used to examine the detailed design of the stack to avoid plume down wash in the stack wake, and to examine concentrations at critical ventilation intakes.
