Abstract
An experimental study of SO? and Og dry deposition R. San Jose, J. Moreno Group of Environmental Software and Modelling, Compeer 6 ABSTRACT The importance of deposition experiments is remarkable because it is a unique way to generate the adequate parameters for different deposition parameteriza- tions. In this paper we report results from a field experiment carried out in Valladolid (Spain) in September, 1991. We used a sonic anemometer to obtain direct turbulent fluxes form momentum and sensible heat flux. In addition a lyman-a hydrometer was also used to obtain values of the humidity fluctuations and latent heat flux. The gradient method was also used to obtain deposition velocities for 502 and £3. Results show a high sensibility to the land-use type chosen. When the "agricultural land" characterization is used the modelled data compare reasonably well with the measured data, especially under unstable condi- tions, for both chemical species. We have used eleven types of terrain a
