These legislative obligations provide commercial opportunities for manufacturers of combustion equipment to meet current and projected emission standards based on on-going research and development activity. The Combustion Division of Hamworthy Engineering Ltd have been involved in the development of power utility burners over the past fifty years and work benefits from the use of full scale burner test rigs. This paper reports results from a collaboration between Hamworthy Engineering Ltd and the University of Portsmouth conc
