Abstract
In the state of Bavaria, Germany, there exist 5 nuclear power plants (NPP) with an electrical power of 4800 MW. The NPP are being monitored by the state authority as well as the plant owner himself. In the third phase of the development of the air quality monitoring system, a Lagrangian dispersion model has been installed to allow for the consideration of the complex terrain, non-stationary releases as well as varying meteorological conditions in time and space. The on-line version with automated data input is fully automated in routine and alarm operations simultaneously for all NPP. Here, the impact of a diagnostic windfield model on the doses will be presented. T
