Abstract
Determination of the concentration of gaseous pollutants is a routine but an important exercise for many air pollution control authorities as well as those industries that emit air pollutants. Normally air quality is monitored using automatic devices/analyzers that can measure the concentration of the pollutant accurately. However, these devices are originally designed for permanent and fixed installations. There are many restrictions and limitations on the use of the equipment, such as the cost, space, power, maintenance, and security problems. It is also not practical to allocate a number of analyzers
