Abstract
A nested version of the mesoscale meteorological model MEMO is applied to the Greater Lisbon Area. The simulation comprises three nested domains of resolutions 5x5 km-, 2x2 kirr and 1 x 1 knf centered over the city of Lisbon. This paper includes a description of the wind fields calculated for the medium and fine grid as well as vertical cross sections of the medium grid.
