Abstract
Last autumn, ozone became the predominant air pollutant over southern part of Taiwan and the new era of air quality management began. Full scale simulations are performed to verify the object of emission reduction in this study. UAM dated 93287 and released by US EPA is used to fulfill the simulations. The wind fields and mixing height field are composed from surface and sounding data. The verification comparisons are done for stations NO% and VOC observations with correlation coefficients of 0.62 and 0.33, respectively. Local emissions from low stacks, traffic and area sources are found to be the main precursors by sensitivity tests of emission turning on/off. Plumes from elevated stacks are blown offshore and have no chance t
