Furthermore, these cities have limited resources to fight back pollution, that is why it is important to use methodologies like the cost-benefit analysis for helping decision makers to choose the best options for this task. This work reports on the cost-benefit analysis of replacing the additive commonly used in the gasoline sold in Mexico City before 1997, by the new additive called IMP-D-13, that is now currently used in this area.
