Abstract
In Villalobos et al (1996)* an inverse modelling technique was used to estimate the aquifer recharge, based on a simulation model and head measurements. The accuracy of the results obtained with the simulation model depends on the quality and detail of the information used. Due to the difficulty and high cost to obtain all the information required for the model it is necessary that part of it be inferred or interpolated from isolated measurements. In order to study the effect on the recharge estimation due to possible errors in the used aquifer parameter values, such as the storage coefficient and hydraulic conductivity, a sensitivity analysis was performed considering that the storage coefficient presents errors of 10,
