Abstract

The results obtained from current measurement experiments, which were carried out when determining the optimal sewer locations near Omis (Bracki kanal channel) and Hvar (Hvarski kanal channel) are discussed. Taking into consideration general characteristics of currents in the channel areas, as well as topography of the seabed and coast in the channels of Bracki kanal channel and Hvarski kanal channel, two positions were selected for mooring the current meter stations.
