Abstract
An integrated modelling system has been developed by IBERDROLA and IBERSAIC for the real-time control of routine releases of passive pollutants into the atmosphere. The system has been called SICEG and it has been installed at the Guardo power station in September 1995. SICEG has been designed to provide guidance to normal and especially planned operations at any industrial facility, in the control and minimization of the environmental impact. The system integrates a communication module, a meteorological preprocessor, a modelling module and a display module. All these processes have been implemented in a PC Pentium based computer under a 16 bits WINDOWS environment. 1.
