Abstract

The duration of dry weather before a storm event, as well as the intensity of rain, have shown to be important factors. A statistical analysis of these two variables, firstly taken separatly and then in conjunction with each other has been made. The comparison of these results with pollution data shows a strong possibility of characterising pollution with these two variables. Introduction The
