Among these indicators, greenhouse gas indicators seem particularly suitable to help the negotiating process on the climate change. In fact, the recent developments of the International Convention on the protection of the global climate, one of the focus points of the UNCED '92 conference of Rio, have led the international debate towards the needs of limiting the greenhouse gas emissions, which are considered the most important agents of potential climatic changes.
