A simplified approximation for a one-dimensional multi-cell was developed along with a photochemical mechanism proposed in the literature [11] .. This approximation is used to represent an urban area divided into five cells, 6 Km wide and 30 Km long, with a mixing layer at a variable altitude. Each of the simulated chemical species is represented by a differential equation, which accounts for advective flows, volume expansion, chemical kinetics and total emissions.
