Carmichael, Young Sunwoo, Yang Zhang Department of Chemical & Biochemical Engineering, Center for Global & Regional Environmental Research, University of ABSTRACT An overview of long range transport of air pollutants in Asia is presented. Acid deposition regional elevated ozone and long range transport of dust are present problems in isolated locations throughout Asia. The projected massive growth in fossil fuel emissions over the next several decades suggest that these regional scale air pollution issues will become of growing importance in the not too distant future.
