Abstract
Noninvasive measurement of the arterial wall shear rate has been studied in many works, in relation with the various mechanical factors involved in atherosclerosis genesis (Nerem [1], Noller [2]). In a previous work (Bensalah, [3]), it has been shown how to compute reliably this factor in the case of a linear newtonian flow.
