Heat Transfer topics are commonly of a very complex nature. Often different phenomena such as heat conduction, convection, thermal radiation and phase change occur simultaneously. Advances in numerical solution methods of nonlinear partial differential equations and access to high-speed, efficient computers have led to dramatic progress in recent years, but there is still a need to develop further innovative approaches for the solution of a variety of problems of current interest.

This book contains edited versions of the papers presented at the Seventh International Conference on Advanced Computational Methods in Heat Transfer. The objective of this conference series is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of advanced topics, new approaches and application of advanced computational methods to heat transfer problems.

The contributions are divided under the following headings: Diffusion-Convection; Conduction including Nonlinear Problems; Natural and Forced Convection; Phase Change; Metal Casting, Welding, Forging and Other Processes; Heat and Mass Transfer; Advances in Computational Methods; Heat Exchangers; and Modelling and Experiments in Heat Transfer.
